Over 60 people joined us for our annual Youth Voice Awards!

Last Friday, over 60 young people and senior managers came together for our Youth Voice Awards!

We gathered in Devon County Hall to celebrate the incredible contributions that young people have made over the past year – from leading our top campaign and raising awareness of important issues, to taking their first steps into youth voice with us.

We started the event with loads of fun activities, like Nerf gun challenges, Lego building, arts and crafts, and a few Wii games. A buffet was available throughout the evening, with plenty of pizza, pasties, sandwiches, and drinks for everyone!

We gathered everyone together and shared a video celebrating the fantastic work young people have done over the past 12 months, which you can now watch on YouTube.

Finally, awards were presented to recognise the young people making significant contributions, as well as those just starting their youth voice journey. Overall, it was a great evening and a real pleasure to celebrate everything that you have achieved for Devon this past year!

While only some of you joined us in person, over 70 of you were nominated for an award, so if you were one of them, you’ll receive your certificate when we next see you!
