Mia did a fantastic job being filmed in a training course for medical professionals!

On Tuesday, Mia shared her lived experience and points of view on camera as part of a training course for paediatric doctors and consultants!

The film crew had travelled all the way from the North West of England and had an impressive (and scary!) amount of tech, but Mia took it all in her stride. She was so calm and collected, and spoke in a really clear and articulate way!

The training course will aim to support medical staff to know how best to respond when someone comes to the hospital in mental health crisis. Mia also talked about the need for better flexibility and understanding around neurodivergence so that hospital environments are less overwhelming.

What a star!!
