Mia did an amazing job speaking about her life story in front of lots of people!
Last Thursday, Mia bravely volunteered to have her life story recorded on video as part of a training course for medical staff who work on paediatric wards.
Her story is so impactful with such an important message – early intervention in mental health should be the top priority for anyone supporting children and young people who are admitted to the hospital!
It is super brave to be so open about such tough times and we know that all the doctors and nurses accessing the training will be moved by Mia’s story and will change the way they work so that other young people have a more positive experience.
Mia is an inspirational young woman who we are so proud to know!
