Get your voice heard
We want you to be listened to, and there are many services available to help you with this! If you need a little help with getting your point across, or feel like you’re not being listened to, make sure to check out the options below.

Advocacy
Advocacy is the process of one person helping another to represent their views. The person giving the advice is called an advocate, and they will help you to be actively involved in decisions that affect your life.

Mind Of My Own
Mind of My Own One is an app that any young person who has a social worker can use to share their views with their workers.

Stand Up Speak Up
If you are in care or leaving care, Stand Up Speak Up (SUSU) is Devon’s group for care-experienced young people.

Complaints
Sometimes, the only way to get your voice heard is to make a complaint! If you feel that the services you have received are not what you expected, you have the right to do this.
