Take a look at what we got up to this Easter!

We had a fantastic Easter this year!
Starting on the 2 April, we had our first Easter event with Fostering Devon to the Donkey Sanctuary! We met a real life Eeyore, got lost in a maze, made new friends, and had lots of fun!!

Our second event was our Lifelong Links Launch Fun Day! It was a fantastic event enjoyed by over 100 children, foster carers and care-experienced young people!
Lifelong Links supports young people to reconnect with people who they care about. This might include family and people who have previously played an important role, such as neighbours, teachers, former social workers, foster carers and youth workers.
And at our launch event on 3 April it felt like everyone was one big family. There were children from just a few weeks old right through to some of our most experienced foster carers still giving their all for children in our care. Speaking to people at the event, it was clear that being reconnected, staying connected, supporting one another and working together is the message that we all came away with.
The team from Avocados Advocacy were on hand to help us with some seed planting too. And our special thanks to Sporty Stars UK and Mane Events for providing the activities, which were so much fun, and to Lyn’s Catering for the amazing food!

Lastly, we had fun at our Mid and North Devon Easter Egg hunt on 8 April!
Plenty of chocolate eggs were found. Then, a delicious bring and share lunch to refuel before football, skittles, and a particularly heated dance off!
