Three Devon Youth Council members helped create a new strategic plan for Devon County Council!

Em, Ray and Joseph had a really important meeting with Councillor James Buczkowski and Senior manager at DCC, Keri Denton, in order to help create the strategic plan for Devon.

Their job was to make sure that young people’s priorities are reflected in the plan and to make sure that there is a clear way of listening to and responding to young people going forwards!

As a result, Councillor Buczkowski is going to visit the Youth Council at our next meeting on 20 September to plan some ideas with us on how we will be able to represent the youth of Devon more effectively in decision-making!
