Lifelong Links has officially been launched!

The Lifelong Links Launch Fun Day was a fantastic event enjoyed by over 100 children, foster carers and care-experienced young people!
Lifelong Links supports young people to reconnect with people who they care about. This might include family and people who have previously played an important role, such as neighbours, teachers, former social workers, foster carers and youth workers.
And at our launch event on 3 April it felt like everyone was one big family. There were children from just a few weeks old right through to some of our most experienced foster carers still giving their all for children in our care. Speaking to people at the event, it was clear that being reconnected, staying connected, supporting one another and working together is the message that we all came away with.
The team from Avocados Advocacy were on hand to help us with some seed planting too. And our special thanks to Sporty Stars UK and Mane Events for providing the activities, which were so much fun, and to Lyns Catering for the amazing food!
