Make Your Mark – the biggest annual youth vote in the UK

Voting is open!!

Over 10,000 of Devon’s young people have been signed up to take part in the biggest youth vote in the UK!

Make Your Mark is an opportunity for young people aged 11-18 to vote on the number one issue in the UK and in Devon! This is the best way to get your voice heard by top decision makers and give you an early vote experience. If your school or youth group has signed up, votes should be taking place all over the next month! If your school hasn’t signed up, you can email us at ukyouthparliament@devon.gov.uk and ask for a Make Your Mark voting code and link!

The local issues have been decided, these are the subjects you’ll be voting on in this months vote:

• Diversity and Inclusion
• Discrimination and Bullying
• Police and Crime
• Pollution
• Transport
• Vaping
• School Life
• Activities and opportunities
• Mental Health
• Preparation for Adult Life

These are for the Devon specific vote – There will be a separate set of issues for the UK as a whole. More information about these categories will be on the ballot, so don’t worry if some of these seem confusing!
