Our latest Stand Up Speak Up Council update for March 2026

Five of you joined us for our most recent in-person session earlier this month! Here are the key details
We were joined by Phill Adams, Deputy Director of Economy and Skills, and Councillor Ed Tyldesley, who shared with us what the priorities were for the Talented Me Sub group.
Overall we thought these were good priorities, but a few questions were raised about the accessibility and variety of apprenticeship opportunities. We will be keeping this conversation open and ongoing.
️ We discussed the challenges involved with accessing your records and what would make this a more positive experience. A small group will meet to discuss our options and explore opportunities for coproduction.
We will be having a SUSU Social event for anyone who is part of Total Respect, Young Commissioners, SUSU Council, or Skills to Foster. This will take place on Thursday 9 April.
