We went to Stover Country Park to help make outdoor spaces more friendly

What started as just another group project turned into something bigger!

Members of the Devon Youth Council, Gracie, Nora, and Josh worked with lots of organisations and teams at Stover Country Park yesterday, to help make outdoor education more inclusive and accessible!

Working alongside these teams really allowed us to see what goes on behind the scenes and the incredible work happening every day. Members of the Youth Council met with so many inspiring people and engaged with them by running their own workshop. The DYC put a huge amount of effort into their part of this day. And we definitely pulled it off!

A huge thank you to all the organisations that attended. Everyone learned something new, and we heard some fantastic and educational talks. Here’s to an amazing day and many more to come. We hope this work continues to support greater investment in outdoor education!
