We spoke at the Children’s Services conference yesterday!

Yesterday, Joseph, Ange, Tianna and Eloise spoke at the Children’s Services conference on ‘the voice of the child’!

They spoke about their experiences of when they’d felt that they’d been heard and why that was so important, as well as talking about ways that workers can help you to feel really listened to and understood. They then took questions from around the room and gave advice on things such as the importance language choices and treating people as people.

All four were absolute amazing! Staff were all very impressed and said that they had found the conversation really informative and helpful!
