Leon and Sally sat down and had a chat about the latest updates for the Growing Futures Project!
Growing Futures is focused on working with Devon County Council to get the views of care experienced young people heard.
One of the big projects that is being developed is getting new children’s homes built across Devon – and young people involved in this project (our Young Commissioners) are helping to shape what does and doesn’t work when it comes to your housing!
These young commissioners have gone out to various children’s homes across the country so that DCC can then better decide which homes should be brought to Devon! We have now reached a stage where one of these homes is now planning to be built!
