Changes to groups during the November lockdown
10th November 2020
Now that we’re in the period of new national restrictions, we’ve had to make some changes to our children in care and care leaver groups this month.
Children in care
Most of our children in care sessions will still be going ahead as normal, although the groups in Exeter and South won’t be taking place in November. That means that our face-to face groups in Barnstaple, Exmouth and Tiverton are all still going ahead – we’ve even added an extra session in North so that we can see you all!
We’re following social distancing and hygiene guidelines for all our face-to-face sessions. If you want to attend a face-to-face session, you’ll need contact your participation worker at least 24 hours in advance to confirm your attendance.
Our two virtual groups are still on as well. But please be aware that, based on your feedback, we’ve changed the time of the session in Week 3 to 7pm to 8pm.
Unfortunately, due to the new lockdown restrictions, we’ve had to cancel our face-to-face sessions for care leavers this month. But don’t worry, we’ve got some great virtual events for care leavers taking place instead.
We can also still meet up on a one-to-one basis. So if you fancy a walk and a chat, simply get in touch with your local participation worker.
