Want to have fun, work with others and learn new skills? Well, the Virtual School and fostering team are joining forces to offer you the chance of an action-packed experience this summer!

That’s right, during the holidays you’ve got the chance to take part in a range of activities; from outdoor adventures to a range of awesome hands on art activities.

Outdoor Activities

There are lot of fun outdoor adventures waiting for you this summer! You could climb a cliff, light a fire from scratch or try your hand at archery. These sessions will be led by an experienced outdoor education provider, Adelong, with Devon County Council staff supporting.

The programme will run over four weeks throughout July and August. The sessions on Mondays and Tuesdays of each week will be aimed at current school years 4,5 and 6, while activities on Wednesdays and Fridays will be for current years 7,8 9 and 10.

And the best part? You won’t have to pay a penny for the activities! That’s right, the costs of the sessions themselves will be covered by the Virtual School, although transport to and from the activities is not included in this – this will be the responsibility of your carer.

Each day will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.15pm.

You can find the full list of outdoor activities here.

Art Activities

If climbing cliffs isn’t your thing, we also have a great range of awesome art sessions for you to take part in. You could make an amazing mosaic, learn how to fashion some terrific textiles or create a sculpture from scratch.

Each day will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.00 pm. And again, you won’t have to pay a penny for the activities! That’s right, the costs of the sessions themselves will be covered by the Virtual School, although transport to and from the activities is not included in this – this will be the responsibility of your carer.
